Pre-sale detailing

Buyers decide in the first thirty seconds. Pre-sale detailing spends its effort exactly there.

Why detail before selling

Presentation is the part of resale value you can still change. A dull bonnet, water-stained interior or grimy wheels all read as neglect to a buyer, whatever the mechanical truth. A pre-sale detail resets that first impression: paint cleaned and polished, interior renewed, the details buyers touch (wheel, gearstick, door trims) actually clean.

What it typically covers

  • Exterior decontamination and polish, so the paint shows depth instead of haze.
  • Interior deep clean: upholstery, carpets, vents, glass and touch points.
  • Wheels, arches and door jambs: the spots buyers check to judge how the car was kept.
  • Engine-bay presentation where it suits the sale.

Timing it

Detail before the photos, not before the first inspection: the listing pictures do most of the selling. Tell us when the car is being photographed and we will work back from that.
